Why is it important to live by Christian values?

Should Christians judge others? Christ once addressed a crowd saying, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone.” John 8:7. But in John 7:24 he says “Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.” What is the difference? Read More..

What are the Christian values and meaning?

Many of the values established in the Mosiac Law differentiated God’s people while also keeping order and protecting them through their faithful adherence. Today, our actions do not determine our salvation. Choosing to set up boundaries in our life by not stepping outside our Christian values is a way we can honor God and stand out from the world around us. Our sins do not bar us from salvation, because salvation is something we cannot earn. After we accept Christ, God becomes our heavenly Father, and like any father, you don’t disown your child because they disappoint you. Once you are a child of God, you remain his. It is our choice to set our boundaries and honor our holy Father by living by His perfect values and love.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Photographer’s Notes– Capturing ‘Joyous Boundaries’

Joyous Boundaries was shot just after dawn in Newnan, GA. The fence was included to show that the cattle live within boundaries but in the safety of a beautiful pasture where all their needs are met. Sometimes we look outside our fence and see greener grass elsewhere. We forget the safety, security, and beauty of our own pasture. A fence, meant here to symbolize the boundaries of Christian values, is our choice. It’s telling God that we trust in him so much that we wish to live our lives by his example and not by the world’s. He gives us purpose not the world.

Joyous Boundaries was captured with a 28mm lens at ISO 100 and an aperture of f/8.0.
