Not happy with life: Find the ‘Eternal Fountain’ find happiness in God

God is the eternal fountain, a spring of never-ending love, peace and grace. When he dwells within you, his love fills your emptiness. As our relationship with him deepens, we begin overflowing with his love and it never stops. That love embraces your being and begins rushing over everyone around you. Without God, we will always feel unfulfilled, and we will not be happy with life. Why? Because we were created to love God, but then given free will to choose. I can promise, drink from the eternal fountain and see how love can grow in your life. Find Happiness in God.

“Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I (Jesus) shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:13-14

Photographer Notes– Capturing ‘Eternal Fountain’

I love incorporating water into my photography. I am sure that it’s not a coincidence that Christ used water as the example in this teaching, one of the most essential resources for humanity known at that time.  But I didn’t want to use a calm body of water or a trickling stream because I wanted to stay true to Christ’s words of a fountain, powerfully springing up and spreading out wide.

This shot was exposed for the light reflecting off the water and retaining the fountain’s reflection in the semi-calm water in the foreground. I purposefully underexposed the treed background to draw the eye to the well-lit fountain. Leaving no real room for interpretation, I not only centered the fountain, but filled the frame with its overflow. The main goal of this was to show the power of the fountain using high detail with a low ISO and fast shutter.
